Education begins with reading. But for many children and adults in Guyana’s low-income areas, access to books remains limited.
EETE’s literacy programs in collaboration with the Sophia Literacy Center, Joshua House, and the National Library of Georgetown have touched hundreds of lives. The organization supplied children’s storybooks, adult literacy materials, and teaching aids, helping readers of all ages rediscover confidence and imagination.
Beyond providing materials, volunteers also supported literacy awareness sessions and reading circles to nurture a culture of lifelong learning.
